Your Trusted Behavioral Health Providers

Who We Are

  • At NMC Wellness, we believe mental health care should feel collaborative, supportive, and personalized to each individual. Our approach combines clinical expertise with compassionate care, creating an environment where patients feel comfortable, respected, and actively involved throughout their treatment journey.

  • Whole-Person Care. Our care is guided by compassion, clinical integrity, collaboration, and respect for your unique experiences.

Responsible, Reliable Care. We believe you deserve a team that is accessible, communicative, and dependable. From medication questions and prescription refills to prior authorizations and scheduling needs, we strive to communicate clearly and follow through when it matters most.

Clinical Excellence. Mental health care is constantly evolving. We stay current with the latest research, treatment guidelines, and evidence-based practices to ensure you receive thoughtful, high-quality care.

Partnership. The best outcomes happen when providers and patients work together. We empower patients with education, guidance, and shared clinical decision making throughout their treatment journey.

Continuity. Wellness is an ongoing process, not a single appointment. We focus on building long-term relationships that support lasting growth and stability.

  • As providers from the Lake & McHenry Community, we recognized the need for psychiatric care that combines clinical expertise with genuine connection and individualized support.

Our Practice was built around a collaborative approach to treatment — One where you feel heard, respected, and actively involved in your care. We understand that every individual’s experience is different, which is why we focus on thoughtful treatment planning tailored to your unique needs and goals.

Today, NMC Wellness Group continues to provide care through both in-person and secure virtual appointments, helping make mental health support more accessible throughout Lake and McHenry county.

Care built on Connection, Balance & Continuity.

Our Approach is grounded in three core principles.

Connection - We take the time to understand your story. Your unique experiences, challenges, goals, and what thriving actually looks like for you. Your first appointment is a full hour, so nothing gets rushed. Follow-up appointments are 30-45 minutes long, giving us time to check in and adjust your care as needed.

Balance - We take a whole-person approach, thoughtfully combining evidence-based medication management, therapeutic techniques, and lifestyle guidance to support lasting mental wellness - not just symptom relief.

Continuity - Thriving isn’t a moment, It’s a journey. We stay with you — adjusting, refining, and building on every visit. You deserve care that stays consistent and we work closely with you and your broader care team to keep your treatment coordinated and effective over time.

Meet Christine Wilson
Nurse Practitioner
MSN, PMHNP-BC, FNP-C, FPA

As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, medication management, and personalized treatment planning for adolescents and adults. My goal is to help patients better understand what they are experiencing, develop a clear path forward, and feel supported throughout their mental health journey.

What makes my approach unique is my 10 year background in family medicine, women’s health, and psychiatry. I am dual certified as a Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner which allows me to bring a broader perspective to mental health care and recognize the important connection between physical and emotional well-being. Mental health is influenced by many factors, including overall health, sleep, hormones, stress, relationships, and life circumstances. By considering the whole person, I am able to provide thoughtful, comprehensive care tailored to each individual’s needs.

I work with patients 11 and older and treat a variety of conditions including anxiety, depression, ADHD, OCD, sleep disturbances, and mood disorders. Some of my most meaningful work involves supporting patient’s through life’s big transitions, whether that means adolescence, parenthood, career changes or relationship challenges. I believe these periods of change can be both challenging and transformative, and I enjoy helping patients find great clarity, resilience, and confidence as they navigate them.

I am proud to provide an inclusive environment where individuals from all backgrounds feel welcome, respected, and supported. At NMC Wellness Group, our vision has always been simple: provide personalized care that values relationships, accessibility, and continuity. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all treatment plans. Every person brings a unique story, set of strengths, and goals, and I believe care should reflect that.

When I’m not working, I enjoy time with my family, spending time outdoors, hiking, discovering new cities, cultures, and experience’s. These adventures remind me of the importance of growth, connection, and embracing life’s journey — values I bring into my work with patients every day.

Meet Jane Ferrigan-Wilson
Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with more than 30 years of experience. I’ve had the privilege of supporting children, adults, families, and professionals through some of life’s most demanding chapters. My background spans clinical practice, special education administration, behavioral health and educational leadership — giving me a deep understanding of the pressures faced by those in helping professions.

I specialize in stress and burnout recovery, anxiety, nervous system regulation, caregiver stress, and life transitions. I have a particular passion for working with educators, school administrators, healthcare providers, therapists, and others in helping professions who spend much of their time caring for others while neglecting their own well-being.

My approach draws from trauma-informed care, cognitive-behavioral strategies, mindfulness, and strengths-based practices. I believe healing happens through connection, self-awareness, and small meaningful changes over time. Therapy should feel supportive, empowering, and genuine. While some conversations can be difficult, there is often room for humor, perspective, and hope along the way.

If you’re feeling exhausted, overextended, or simply stuck. I’d love to help you pause, reset, and reconnect with the person you want to be —not just the role you play for everyone else.

Meet Navneet Singh
Director of Operations & Co-founder

I oversee practice operations, patient experience, scheduling, billing, credentialing, and business development. My goal is to ensure patients receive responsive, organized, and accessible care throughout their treatment journey.

One of the perspectives I bring to NMC Wellness Group is an understanding of what happens after a prescription is sent. Having worked directly in pharmacy practice, I recognize many of the challenges patients face with prescriptions, insurance requirements, prior authorizations, and communication between providers and pharmacies.

My goal is to help create processes that minimize delays, improve communication, and make treatment as seamless as possible. I am passionate about creating a practice that is responsive, efficient, and allows our clinical team to spend more time where it matters most — caring for patients.
